New tray

I finished one of my projects today.   I wanted a new tray for my coffee table/ottoman, as mine was way too big for it.  So, while at Goodwill yesterday, I spotted this brown wooden "thing" for $2.99.  Excited beyond belief, I picked it up.  This is what I bought:

I used my new favorite spray paint, Espresso and went to town on it.

AbbySue picked out the scrapbook paper at the dollar store and I modpodged it.  It is pretty cute paper.

Barely dry, because I have no patience at all, I put it on my ottoman and filled it with the usual junk.

This is the stool I got for $3.99 for Miss Abbs.  I am going to paint it white and my sister gave me some material that is purple/white polka dots.  It is so cute.

I'll need to do something with the inside as well, but I am very excited about the project!!

This is the gorgeous chair that I got for $4.99 that I can't wait to finish. I am going to get the trusty Heirloom White and spray it, then, I am going to attempt glazing.  I have never done it before, but this chair has such beautiful detailing that I think I will love it. 

Sorry about the garbage in the background.  I have the chair in the garage.  I am thinking about maybe getting a zebra print for the cushion.  So excited!!!  I'll let you know how it turns out. Pin It
