MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL (ALMOST)

I have to admit that I am not a fan of the dresser/matching giant mirror in a bedroom. I do like mirrors, but I don't like to look at myself everytime I go into my dresser. But, I also like having my dresser tops pretty, so I was kind of at a loss as to what to do. Enter....... PINTEREST!! I had a big black mirror already, so I only needed a few more. Say hello to my garage and my finds

Out came the spray paint. You can't tell from the pictures, but it is a lot pinker in colour than what you see here.

John likes the look, but it freaks him out because he sees displaced parts when he looks in the mirror. He is not the smartest sometimes. I had to explain to him that they weren't functional mirrors, just for show. Sigh. I had one left over, so I popped it behind my nightstand

My armoire is all decorated now too. It is actually John's, so I couldn't go too "girlie" with it

I am still waiting for my comforter, and I have to finish John's nightstand (it is pretty blah). I am also going to attempt to make a beautiful clock that I saw at Bed Bath and Beyond, but that I can't find a picture of anywhere.

All in all, I am happy with the way the room is shaping up. Anybody else making their room brighter and sexier??? Pin It
